CFO reports fund balances and a $101,026 increase in sales tax receipts

Chief Financial Officer Rick Cunningham reported that the district is about 67% of the way through fiscal year 2026 and presented operating fund balances and trackers. He listed Fund 10 (Education) at $34,886,463.63, Fund 20 (O&M) at $4,254,033.69, Fund 40 (Transportation) at $3,311,959.32 and Fund 70 (Working Cash) at $3,365,318.60 for a combined total of $45,817,775.24; the total was lower than last year’s $47,808,477.49 by $1,990,702.25 as shown in the report.
Cunningham also highlighted a significant month-over-month sales tax increase of $101,026.02 versus the same time last year, reporting $422,679.65 in sales tax receipts for the month. He reported PPRT receipts of $137,948.09 (down $3,080.38 year-over-year). Assistant Superintendent Matt Moore added that Vision 117 Phase IV work is about five days behind schedule due to weather delays.
