The board approved a consent agenda that accepted multiple gifts and donations to district programs. Among the items accepted were a Portolite two-piece practice mound valued at $4,250 donated by Trent and Jillian Clark for the baseball program; a $2,000 monetary gift from RWE for the athletic general activity account; $10,319.34 from the MS/HS PTO for the MS and HS general activity fund; track uniforms valued at $2,878.95 donated by Illini Outlaw Diesel, BeJimmy Fund, and Brad and Laura Lemme; and acceptance of a Luxedo projection system for the high school gym valued at $50,000 from the Illini Central Booster Club. The consent agenda motion carried 7-0 on roll call.
The consent package also included authorization to engage KEB for auditing services in the amount of $30,050, acceptance of gifts in memory of Terri Allen totaling $4,775 for the Make a Difference Fund, and other donations and policy approvals listed in the board packet. The board approved the full consent agenda by roll-call vote with all seven members voting aye.
