Palm Springs Unified plans August rollout of ClassTime formative assessments and PLC support

The board heard that initial training will begin in August for elementary teachers (third through fifth grades), with site consultants and follow‑up PLC meetings twice a month. The district plans to align ClassTime question banks to the scope and sequence, give teachers flexibility on pacing (weekly small assessments or biweekly 10‑point checks), and use consultant support to analyze results. Administrators will also be asked to conduct classroom walk‑throughs with feedback to ensure consistent tier‑1 instruction.
