Village Planner Christian Waterval told the council that major expenses tied to a recent development review on 24th Street have largely concluded but the developer had not yet submitted completed application materials. Council discussion noted that additional consultant review could be required if a new developer files an application.
Village Attorney Pamala Ryan clarified the fee structure for planner review: "Developers must pay a $1,300 consultant fee in addition to the application fee," and the Village will receive the developer's payment and in turn pay the consultant for review work. Council noted that future consultant expenses would generally be tied to new development applications or projects.
