Lazy Lake Council approves consent agenda and routine motions

The Village Council of Lazy Lake approved its consent agenda on Sept. 24, 2025, by a 5-0 vote, adopting minutes from June 19 and Sept. 10 and ratifying electronic invoice payments made since June 19, 2025. Councilmember Jeff Grenell moved "to approve the consent agenda," and Councilmember Warren Nadeau seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
Council also handled several administrative items: the Council asked for a formal written proposal from a local accounting firm and appointed Councilmember Dana Merrill as Village Council Treasurer to review the proposal and coordinate next steps. The treasurer appointment was made by motion and passed 5-0.
