The Bass Lake Joint Union Elementary School District board approved the monthly warrants and reviewed the district's quarterly investment and revenue reports. During the discussion a board member asked about a $5,247 set of charges to Aries Education; staff explained those were licensing fees split between site and district budgets.
District finance staff (Tara) highlighted that "the return on the county treasury fund was 2.69," noted the district's majority funding comes from the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) tied to average daily attendance, and explained that restricted and one-time funds such as COVID-era grants had driven some unusual variances in the budget. Trustees approved the warrants on a roll call vote.
