Thompson said the work includes installing an attached sidewalk along a curved segment and reconnecting to existing sidewalk connections, modifying the curb and roadway grades to channel flows into a new concrete pan. He emphasized that the design ties into existing sidewalk risers and that grading was planned to direct drainage from a defined high point within the pan.
