The council returned to open session at 6:16 p.m., and the city attorney delivered the closed-session report, saying the council had considered one item and that "no reportable actions were taken."
The closed session began soon after the meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. and lasted approximately 44 minutes; the special meeting was adjourned at 6:17 p.m. The council indicated the regular meeting would convene at 6:30 p.m. The council did not disclose details of the litigation item in open session beyond the Government Code citation and the attorney's statement that no reportable action occurred.
