City manager: outside printer misprinted Prop 218 notices; hearing to proceed July 21

City Manager reported that an outside printing/mailing vendor made an error in Prop 218 notices sent to residents. The manager said the vendor “made a mistake on about 0.667 of the notices” by adding an incorrect line in the address field; the vendor has apologized and will send a corrective notice explaining the error.
The manager said the city will proceed with the Prop 218 hearing on July 21, 2026 and encouraged any resident with a protest to bring it to that hearing or submit it by mail in advance. Staff also said they will schedule an information meeting (date to be announced) and post details on the city’s social media channels so residents can ask questions and get further explanation before the hearing.
