A motion to endorse the revisions to Bulletin 140 was made by Dr. Paula Polito and seconded by Miss Dijanae. With no opposition recorded, the motion passed. Staff said under the revised law the commission will provide input and guidance to the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE), the Louisiana Department of Education and other state leaders as a statewide advisory coordinating body.
