Amber Quirk, Regional Superintendent, presented services provided by the Regional Office of Education and highlighted district accomplishments at the March 19 board meeting. Quirk cited a 94.5% attendance rate, strong teacher retention, and that more than half of the district’s teachers hold a master’s degree; she also noted the district’s Exemplary School recognition and band achievements.
Quirk outlined ROE services including licensure support for teachers and paraprofessionals, participation in a School Safety Network, career-exploration programming for middle grades, and a new grant-writing service available to districts. Board members received the presentation and acknowledged community support including a successful referendum focused on safety improvements and grade-level restructuring.
