River Trails reports academic and SEL findings in end-of-year summary
Summary
District leaders presented 2025–26 academic performance data in math and literacy and Panorama SEL and 5 Essentials survey findings, and outlined school-level objectives and district goals to guide 2026–27 planning.
River Trails School District 26 administrators presented end-of-year academic results and social-emotional learning data at the June 9 board meeting. Dr. Kristine Seifert reviewed mathematics and literacy performance statistics, while Dr. Carie Cohen summarized key findings from the 5 Essentials survey and Panorama SEL metrics, identifying district strengths and target areas for improvement.
Superintendent Dr. Jodi Megerle tied the findings to the district goals for 2025–26 and to school-specific objectives presented by principals Amy Veytsman (PTS), William Timmins (IG), Kyle Henkel (RTMS) and Karen Daly (Euclid). Board members were given the data to inform planning for the Strategic Plan discussion scheduled for July 21, 2026. The presentation emphasized areas for continued focus but did not include adoption of new policy or budget changes during the meeting.
