Board hears music program update, considers renaming 8th Grade Musician award

The meeting also included recognition of students Hollie Willix and Mara Amigon as Students of the Month. STEAM teacher Megan Ryder presented the Cardboard Arcade project earlier in the meeting to highlight hands‑on student learning.
Board members did not vote on the renaming request at this meeting; staff will place it on a future agenda for consideration and formal action if the Board chooses to proceed.
