The Winfield School District 34 Board of Education accepted personnel resignations and approved summer staffing and stipend assignments during its April 30 meeting.
The Board accepted the resignation of paraprofessional Flavia Farinha and the resignation of Building and Grounds Supervisor Antoine Blake; both motions passed by roll call vote. The Board then approved summer maintenance hires—Cal Doucet, Jaden Aldaco, and Ashton Aldaco—along with the 2026–27 stipend plan and initial stipend assignments and the district’s 2026 summer school assignments. Heather Armstrong made the motions and Alisa Wolfe seconded them; all were approved by roll call vote.
Board members did not record additional conditions or contingencies in the minutes for these personnel items. Next procedural steps are standard HR processing for the departures and hires and finalization of stipend assignments for the 2026–27 year.
