The Salt Creek SD 48 Board authorized purchase and installation of audio/visual equipment for the new Albright Middle School gym at a total cost not to exceed $75,835.47.
Ms. Jilek described a competitive procurement process facilitated by Client First and asked the board to approve the agreement with Fathom Media. "Mr. Cuny requested a motion to approve the agreement with Fathom Media for the purchase and installation of Audio/Visual equipment for the new Albright gym at a cost not to exceed $75,835.47," the minutes record. The motion, made by Mr. Van De Velde and seconded by Mr. Kielminski, passed with all present voting yea and Mr. Downer absent.
District staff said the A/V system procurement follows completion of the gym construction and is intended to support assemblies, athletics, and community events. Implementation will occur once facilities work finishes and equipment is received.
