Summary

Staff provided technical detail: the property is about 19,000 square feet, the proposed home would be 4,758 square feet with a 467-square-foot junior ADU above the garage, and the project includes landscaping intended to soften the residence and screen views. The landscape plan listed removing several small-specimen plants and replanting with roughly 24 trees (maples, olives and fruit trees) in various box sizes; staff also noted the project had received six letters of support and was considered exempt from CEQA.
