District survey finds high satisfaction but flags communication, special‑education support and teacher resources

District communications summarized a year of survey results showing broad satisfaction across parents, staff and students. Linda Medley presented aggregated findings that ranked student learning, strong staff relationships and a positive campus culture among the district's top strengths; the most frequent area for improvement across stakeholder groups was communication and transparency, especially around bond projects and timelines.
Medley said the district has already used the data to adjust staffing and resource allocation and will fold survey findings into campus improvement and the strategic action plans. "The number 1 thing that everyone saw was that student learning is a top priority across the board," she said, and she described steps the district will take to improve communication channels, targeted special‑education supports and teacher professional development. Trustees said they were encouraged by the results and asked for further breakdowns that will accompany the district's strategic action plan.
