The Bridgman Public School District Board of Education approved its consent agenda on June 8, 2026, in a 4–0 vote. Member JoAnn DeMeulenaere moved the consent agenda and Member Brad Owen supported the motion.
The consent agenda included authorization for the Central Michigan University Girls’ Volleyball Camp scheduled July 13–14, 2026 in Mt. Pleasant; the hiring of Kimberly Godush as BES Special Education Teacher (Level 1) at $49,912; the hiring of Sarah Altieri as Middle School Counselor (Level 2) at $51,593; the hiring of Preston Nichols as BHS Math Teacher (Level 1) at $49,912; acceptance of a $13,500 donation from the Bridgman Education Foundation for the district’s Robotics program; and approval of the May 11, 2026 regular meeting minutes. President Eric Ramso then allowed a brief recess so the new hires could be introduced.
Board members present were President Eric Ramso, Member Brad Owen, Member JoAnn DeMeulenaere and Member Nancy Hawley. The motion carried 4–0.
