Student council updates, spring events and district Top Ten announced

Student Council representative Piper Barnard reported on recent and upcoming student events, including a successful Teacher Appreciation week, prom, and an Interact Club Phone Free Field Day scheduled for May 13 with 63 students currently signed up. She also noted the National Honor Society will elect officers and that May 26 is the final blood drive of the year.
The board also announced the district’s 2026 Top Ten graduates, listing Valedictorian Ethen Chandler and Salutatorian Carson Case among the top students. Piper told the board she already has ideas about who may serve as the 2026–27 student representative.
