Superintendent Erfourth said the middle school had been identified as a CSI school in 2017 due to a persistent gap between the top 30% and bottom 30% of students and a subgroup in the bottom 5% for proficiency; the plan aims for 10% growth on M-STEP proficiency in math and ELA by 2027.
Erfourth said the team has been tracking leading and lagging indicators and created a dashboard to monitor goals; the CSI plan was submitted to the state for review and was approved that day. The motion to approve the MICIP CSI Plan was recorded as 25-26-112 and passed unanimously.
