Board maps committee assignments and plans onboarding for new trustees

During the administration report on June 22, trustees discussed onboarding for new board members and when committee appointments should begin. The board reached consensus to start committee appointments at the beginning of the new school year and reviewed a proposed distribution of committee roles: Finance Committee — Shannon Gillison and Sue Campana; District Impact Team — Greg Kempton; Building & Grounds — Matt Smith and Greg Kempton; Policy Committee — Greg Kempton, Sue Campana and Dave Egeler; Liaison — Dave Egeler.
Board members discussed where to place members for the coming year and asked the policy committee to finalize onboarding materials. No formal vote on committee assignments was recorded at the retreat; placements will be finalized at a later meeting.
