Dan Norris, the district’s director of Maintenance, Operations and Transportation, gave the monthly Measure U construction update and shared photos of recent work. He thanked the technology director for coordinating the AT&T main fiber run and said the district expects the AT&T cutover by mid‑month so MOT demo work can continue: "we have AT and T on board," Norris said during his overview.
Norris listed projects in design and out to bid—kitchen assessments, portable relocations at Majestic Way, exterior window replacements at Northwood Elementary, roofing work at Ruskin K‑1/K‑2, and planned classroom entry reconfiguration pilots. He also reported progress on sensor and panel installations for fire alarm replacements and an upcoming PG&E interconnection for Sierramont solar slated during the April break. Several security and PA system replacement projects are listed as in progress across sites.
