The Titonka City Council on Sept. 11 introduced and adopted an ordinance amending provisions pertaining to conflict of interest in the city code. Council member Mike Etherington introduced the ordinance; council members voted to suspend the usual two-meeting reading requirement and voted unanimously for final passage, recording no nays.
The ordinance is recorded as Ordinance No. 673 and was adopted that evening. The meeting minutes show unanimous support; the clerk’s records should be consulted for the full ordinance text and any effective-date language not included in the minutes.
