"This one just reaffirms our students' rights to access to their services," Superintendent Dr. Puentes said, adding that lessons from COVID-related service disruptions informed the updated language to ensure students continue to receive required services even in challenging circumstances.
The policy was approved for first reading; trustees did not propose substantive amendments at the meeting but requested continued attention to implementation and service recovery as part of the district’s special-education oversight.
