Board hears $1.06 million school safety-and-security package and van purchase

He said the package would be a one-time cost bundled into a five-year relationship and recommended funding it through 31a grant dollars.
"All of that is in this package, for an amount not to exceed $1,061,340. This will be funded through our 31 a grant dollars," Dr. Michaud said. He also recommended buying a full-size 10-passenger replacement van (three quotes, low bidder recommended) for an amount not to exceed $62,990 from general-fund dollars.
Dr. Michaud said bond-construction work is ongoing across the district and Meadowbrook renovation bidding is complete and likely to return for review next month. He described other business-office improvements (electronic absence reporting, expanded ACH/vendor payments, 100% direct deposit rollout) as administrative modernization tied to the finance office's work plan.
