The Chelsea School District Board of Education adopted the meeting agenda and approved the consent agenda at its June 8, 2026 regular meeting. Board President Erin Hunt-Carter called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.; the motion to adopt the agenda was made by Michelle Craig and seconded by Sara Tracy and passed with five members voting yea and two absent.
The consent agenda included approval of minutes (Action Item 71-25-26), authorization of the CHS World Language field trip to Costa Rica in June 2027 (Action Item 72-25-26), and a District furniture replacement purchase for $208,660.31 to be funded through 2019 bond funds (Action Item 73-25-26). Superintendent Mike Kapolka recommended the personnel and program items.
