Students honored; theater, music and Unified Basketball events highlighted

The Chelsea School District Board opened its April 6 meeting by recognizing Beach Middle School student Melanie Smashey and Chelsea High School student Dutch Kisselburg as Students of the Month. Student liaisons Bradley Dunn and Wyatt Angus later updated the board on upcoming student events.
Bradley Dunn reported on the CHS Theater Guild production "Almost, Maine" scheduled for April 25–27 and the CHS Collage Concert on April 11; Wyatt Angus briefed the board on the Mini Victorthon and upcoming state testing and invited the board to submit questions for the CHS student body. The board also noted the Rock Your Socks Unified Basketball game (March 27) and an upcoming CHS music trip to Toronto.
