The Park and Recreation Commission approved a request from the West Bend Baseball Association to install a granite donor-recognition memorial at Carl Kuss Field in Regner Park. Dan said the association will pay for design, fabrication and installation, and staff shared a proposed donor list that will appear on the monument. "It is proposed to be installed south of the grandstand as shown on the attached aerial map," Dan said.
Commissioners asked about size and placement; Dan cited approximate dimensions in the meeting record and said the memorial will require a footing. After brief discussion, a motion to approve the memorial carried on a voice vote. Staff said installation is anticipated by Aug. 31 if schedules align.
