The board approved purchase of Esports classroom furniture from NBS Commercial Interiors, using E&I Cooperative Services consortium pricing, in an amount not to exceed $38,007.09. Trustees asked whether the Esports room would be in the new North Lake building; Ms. Larsen and others clarified the classroom will be at Lake Shore High School.
Dr. DiPonio noted the program "had not" been updated and that "the team was utilizing folding tables" before this purchase; the district foundation funded new computers to support the program. The authorization allows facilities and purchasing to proceed under the cooperative contract.
