The Planning, Housing, and Economic Development Committee took two formal actions on Sept. 19: it held CB 58-2024 (building-code administrative changes to create a single public tracking interface) and CB 62-2024 (zoning changes for convenience-store locations and hours) until the committee's next meeting on Oct. 3. Both motions to hold passed by recorded vote, 3–0.
The clerk recorded the vote for each motion and announced, "Motion carries 3 0." The administration provided written commentary opposing Draft 2 of CB 62-2024 and noted DPIE has technical enforcement commentary to share; the administration said it would email the committee its remarks ahead of Oct. 3. No public comment or substantive policy debate on either bill was recorded during the Sept. 19 session.
