Land Services staff (Mister Pence) presented the preliminary plat application for Engholme Acres, covering parcels 75130521, 75130524, 75130525 and 75130526 in Section 13 of Long Lake Township. Staff said the conventional design proposes 12 residential lots and one outlot on South Long Lake and noted the lots are "much larger than the minimum requirements" for the plat.
The planning commission held a public hearing on June 18 and made a unanimous recommendation to approve; staff concurred. Commissioners moved and seconded the motion to approve the preliminary plat and the board approved it by voice vote.
Staff said larger lots were encouraged by county planning policy and that findings of fact are available in the meeting packet pages cited by staff.
