The Office of Human Resources presented CB78-2024, the collective bargaining agreement between Prince George's County and the Prince George's County Police Civilian Employees Association, and companion CR70 (the salary schedule). The package implements a FY2025 cost-of-living increase of 1.5% and merit increases averaging 3.5% for covered employees.
Nathaniel Tutt explained the terms and confirmed the resolution enacts the salary plan that gives effect to the bargaining agreement. Office of Law reviewed the materials and found no legal impediment to adoption; the County Executive's Office asked for a favorable recommendation. After a brief staff overview and no substantial public comment, the committee moved both CB78 and CR70 favorably (8–0).
