The McLeansboro Township Board reviewed an annual financial statement and a certification from a three-person audit committee at its Sept. 10 meeting and voted to accept the report as presented. The audit and certification stated there were "no irregularities relating to the financial accounting or the functional responsibilities on the part of the Township." Kyle Ingram moved to approve the statement; Bob Brockett seconded and the motion carried.
Board members did not request additional follow-up during the meeting. The acceptance places the audit in the official record and signals that, according to the committee's certification, no accounting or functional issues were identified for the period under review.
