McLeansboro Township tentatively approves 2025 township and road district budgets

The McLeansboro Township Board tentatively approved proposed 2025 budgets for the Township and the Road District at its April 8, 2025 meeting at the Township building, 105 Carpenter Street. Kyle Ingram moved to tentatively approve the Township budget as Ordinance 2025-1, and Becky Cross seconded; the motion carried.
Ingram then moved to tentatively approve the Road District budget as Ordinance 2025-2; Becky Cross seconded and the motion carried. Both budgets will be on public display at the Township building until the May 2025 meeting to allow any qualified Township resident access to review the documents. The board indicated it anticipates taking final action on both budgets at the May meeting.
