The Village of McLean trustees unanimously approved a tax computation for fiscal year 2025 at their April 21, 2026 budget meeting, recording the motion as moved by Trustee Kirby and seconded by Trustee Mattson. The motion listed the amount as $138,448.00 and was carried by roll call votes from trustees present.
Treasurer Marcy Seeman had earlier presented budget materials and an estimate of real-estate tax receipts of about $138,438.00 and noted police revenue from tickets, fees and fines totaled $10,879.20 in the prior year. Seeman reminded the board that "This year's budget must be approved by 01 May 2026." The minutes show both the preliminary estimate and the formal motion amount; the two sums differ in the record and the discrepancy was not resolved during the meeting.
The board also noted upcoming dates: a Joint Board Review scheduled for May 20, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. and an additional budget meeting listed as April 23, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 8:29 p.m., per the clerk's entry.
