During the business portion of the meeting Mike Andrews moved, seconded by Dan Harrington, to accept the donation; the council approved the gift by unanimous vote. Gerry Winch added a lighthearted plea from the club: "Please approve and come back for more pancakes." Mayor Rowie Hansberger thanked the club for the donation during the vote.
