Public Works reported at the March 2 meeting that arsenic testing results have been pending since December and that staff have emailed and left messages to obtain results. The minutes state it "takes a couple of months to get answers back" and that the Village is still waiting for the lab response.
Crews have completed tree trimming on Morgan Street, repaired and reinstalled kiosks at the depot, stored a park sign indoors pending better weather, and conducted general road maintenance planning. The department said three water-service projects at meters are lined up but remain weather-dependent. The minutes note that staff and the engineer have discussed the plant condition and that an engineer who met with Greg Rutherford was impressed with the plant's cleanliness but noted minor updates were needed.
