DCYF and RDA presenters said dashboard tables now make it easier to estimate pregnant and parenting youth in foster care and support coordination across home visiting (MIECHV) and foster care programs even without new federal funds.

DCYF staff said the dashboard helped surface counts and standardized rates for pregnant and parenting youth in foster care, prompting interest from multiple program managers in collaboration.
Vicky Ybarra described federal guidance linking home visiting (MIECHV) and foster care funding streams and said making the foster care pregnancy rate visible activated cross-program interest. "When I shared this across my unit widely... I had at least 3 or 4 program managers... who were all interested in collaborating," she said.
Bridget Poppel noted the dashboard reports pregnancy rates per 1,000 girls ages 10–19 and that foster care populations show higher standardized rates; she cautioned absolute counts are lower and added that DCYF maintains internal counts that are not public in the dashboard.
