Medinah SD 11 reports enrollment of 648 K–8 students, outlines priorities and events for 2025–26

The superintendent reported that "The enrollment as of 8/14/25 for K-8 648 and PK 52," and reviewed the district's five strategic priorities for 2025–26 at the Medinah Elementary School District 11 board meeting on Aug. 14. The presentation noted MAP testing begins Aug. 25, and that the district responded to three FOIA requests covering purchase orders and staff contact directories.
Superintendent presentation items included family and community engagement initiatives — the 3rd Annual Bus Bash was held the day of the meeting — and several donated resources: the DuPage Regional Office of Education contributed 75 backpacks with supplies and SCARCE donated five boxes of supplies. The report also described completed summer facilities work (parking-lot asphalt, door replacements, univent servicing, classroom furniture updates) and technology refreshes and moves among schools. The district indicated the Consolidated District Plan has been filed with the Illinois State Board of Education and several ESEA grants are approved or pending.
