Montmorency County Board authorizes up to $75,000 for camera and access-door system

The Montmorency County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to authorize up to $75,000 to install a camera and access-door system at county facilities.
Chair Mary Hardies moved the measure and Vice-Chair Michelle Hamlin seconded. The board said four vendor quotes had been received and that the sheriff would work with Controller Aprille Williamson to select the best option. The board noted that roughly half of the cost is expected to be covered by a WRAP grant. The motion passed 4–0 on roll call (Hardies, Peltier, Hamlin, DeVriendt).
