During the session lawmakers moved to withdraw a large number of House bills from committee, often by individual motion. Representative Powell said, "I move to withdraw house bill 2,002 from the committee in the house," and other members followed with motions to withdraw bills such as HB 1808, HB 2040, HB 2042, HB 1726, HB 928 and many more.
Clerk confirmations show several of the withdrawal motions were ordered 'without objection' while a handful met objections and were held accordingly. Members used the floor to process multiple committee housekeeping actions quickly so bills could be rescheduled or otherwise processed in committee or on the calendar.
