Board approves ESY placements, LearnWell instruction and therapy contracts

The board approved several contracts and service agreements for special education and summer programs at the June 10 meeting. A tuition contract with Lake Drive School for ESY services was approved at a tuition cost of $8,550.00 for a specified student; the Stanhope BOE extended school year contract for one student totaled $6,333.71 and Performance Pediatrics ESY summer camp charges for another student were approved at $3,300.00.
The board also approved a LearnWell instructional contract estimating $61.70 per hour of instruction and Performance Pediatrics' rate schedule for related services (occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy at $90/hr, COTA/PTA $77/hr, BCBA $97/hr, evaluations $450, plus a 1% administrative fee). Willow Tree Therapy Services, LLC was approved for professional services for a student at $375.00. These approvals were part of the finance and student-services consent agenda.
