Equalization Director Dulcee Atherton told the board that although she completed appraisals last year, the county must hire an appraiser to complete commercial appraisals this year and the RFP must be issued soon because appraisals are due in October. "She has a current employee that feels is ready to be moved into the Appraiser position internally," Atherton said, and she committed to bringing the RFP to the next meeting for board approval.
