Taloga Board approves contracts, policy updates and memberships for 2026–27 school year

At the May 13 meeting the Taloga Board of Education approved a consent package of policies, contracts and memberships for the 2026–2027 school year.
The consent motion (moved by Stacy King, seconded by Justin Fox) approved revisions and regulations including EHBC-R3 (Child Identification, Location, Screening and Evaluation Note to parents), EHBCA-R (Extended School Year Programs Standards), FNCE (Reporting Students Under the Influence or Possessing Alcoholic Beverages or Controlled Dangerous Substances) and BE (Board of Education Meetings and Notification Procedures). The Board also approved contracts and memberships: a bus driver drug-testing contract with Alcohol & Drug Testing INC, comprehensive employment services and policy services with OSSBA, OSSBA and OROS memberships, and an E-Rate consulting agreement with Clayborn Services for SY 2026–2027. Separately, the Board approved a management-services contract with Sooner Technology.
