Council highlights new Island Navigation Network committee and community service events

Pamela Gott, president of the Vashon Rotary Club, announced a Rotary global day of service with island beach cleanups planned for May 17 and invited community participation.
Council leaders asked members to volunteer for committees and to support the incoming board, which will be smaller than a full 12-member roster; members were reminded of a volunteer recognition potluck and encouraged to help sustain the organization's workload.
