Township to solicit residents on Philadelphia Avenue mailbox revitalization; online survey planned

Douglass Township held a workshop from 6–7 p.m. on Nov. 13 to discuss revitalization of mailboxes on Philadelphia Avenue and plans to solicit resident input via a survey. Planning Agency members said the survey would be posted as a fillable document on the township website, with mailed surveys considered after public comment.
During the public comment period, resident Mr. Mickletz said he preferred mailed surveys. Ms. Carpenter responded that the board would take that preference into consideration as it finalizes distribution methods. The board also announced there will be no workshop in December and that the revitalization workshop series will resume in January.
