Douglass Township confirms seasonal leaf collector started; police hiring recommendation due Nov. 17

Manager Andrew Duncan told the board that Kenny Focht started on Oct. 20, 2025 as the township's second part-time, budgeted seasonal leaf collection worker. The hiring had been approved previously (Oct. 17) and Mr. Focht is filling an existing, budgeted position.
Duncan also reported that Police Department interviews concluded Oct. 24, 2025 and that Chief Evans will bring a recommendation for hire to the Nov. 17, 2025 Board of Supervisors meeting. The board accepted the Manager's report by motion during the Nov. 5 meeting.
