PAFC assigns summer facility tours; 55 Nooks Hill pump house assessment deferred
Summary
The committee assigned lead reviewers for remaining parks, fields and town properties and agreed to continue assessments over the summer. The planned assessment of the 55 Nooks Hill Road pump house and garage was deferred amid demolition and hazardous-material concerns.
The PAFC agreed to continue assessments of remaining parks, fields, parking areas and other Town properties over the summer and assigned lead reviewers who will coordinate with up to two additional committee members to collect photographs and prepare assessments in the committee’s Google Sheets format.
Committee members noted that smaller properties may be reviewed individually while larger or more complex sites should include multiple members for broader observations. The assessment of the 55 Nooks Hill Road pump house and garage was deferred while the Town evaluates demolition and hazardous-material concerns; the tour schedule and lead-reviewer assignments will be updated and redistributed to the committee.
Attachment A lists completed and TBD tour locations, including Town Hall/Library, PW Facility behind Pierson Park, Transfer Station, Park & Rec building at Watrous, ECS, CMS & CHS, WIS, Frisbee Landing, River Park North and South, and others.
