The Lyon County Commission approved routine financial warrants and payroll items at its July 3, 2025 action session.
The board voted 3-0 to approve warrants payable in the amount of $1,117,097.73, payroll payable of $402,100.88 and payroll withholdings totaling $301,015.24. The motions were recorded as Duft/Bartel (warrants), Peck/Duft (warrants seconding references in minutes), and Duft/Peck or Duft/Bartel as listed in the minutes for the various motions; each motion carried unanimously. Amie Jones, Lyon County Clerk, was listed in the meeting record as responsible for warrants and payroll documentation.
These approvals were presented as routine consent items at the start of the meeting; no public comment or debate was recorded. The accounting items come as the county staff continue work on departmental budgets for the coming fiscal cycle, a point also noted later in the meeting by Controller Dan Williams.
