Stat. 16-202, closing to occur within 30 days after the remonstrance period, the property is conveyed "as is," standard closing costs split equally, and the buyer would receive a $2,000 refund if a certificate of occupancy is issued for a residence on the property within two years of closing. John Bush, representing the buyer, described his firm's ongoing construction projects and experience in support of the purchase. The first reading passed unanimously.
